For our 2024 season we are located behind Merchiston Castle School – The Wild Outdoors will be based out of Edinburgh United Football Club, which is just off Colinton Road.

Think you know the city? Merchiston Castle School is an amazing venue.
With indoor spaces, huge outdoors spaces, woodlands and even a river running through the school grounds.
You can feel like you are out in the countryside from the comfort of an Edinburgh centre location. We have the wild woodlands; these stretch on and have so much space to explore.
With streams to dip our nets into and huge pitches to play our famous games, with a huge range of activities means your children can be trying out archery or inflatable zorb suits, they could be zooming around our go-kart course and ending the day with water battles and slip and slides or an obstacle course.
Our days are full of rewarding activities that give children real skills and huge amounts of fun.
