What if my child is nervous and apprehensive about attending?
It's perfectly natural for children to feel nervous about attending camp, especially if it's their first time. We take a compassionate and understanding approach to help ease these feelings. Our staff are trained to support children through their apprehension by engaging them in one-on-one conversations, gradually introducing them to camp activities at a pace they are comfortable with and pairing them with buddies who can help them adjust. We also encourage parents to discuss any specific concerns or needs their child might have with us in advance, allowing us to tailor support effectively. Our aim is to ensure that every child feels welcome, safe, and excited to participate, turning their initial apprehension into a love for camp adventures.
