What we do

Why The Wild Outdoors?

The Wild Outdoors was born from fond memories of adventures and fun during our school holidays.
Our aim at The Wild Outdoors is to give children and young people a safe environment to adventure and explore, children will spend all day being involved in activities they will find fun and engaging.

 Our Activities

At The Wild Outdoors our activities have to meet a certain criteria to make it onto our schedule.

They have to be:

Engaging  Fun  Exciting  Safe for all  Progressive  Tailored to each age and ability

We know that our activities are what set us apart from other holiday camp providers.
Once our activities have passed the initial criteria check, it is over to our most important critics our visiting children.

We have over 40 activities that are tried and tested at present. We are always bringing new activities to The Wild Outdoors which ensure that no two days are the same.

From zorb suits, to archery, water fights, slip n slides to peddle go-karts, from lawn games to ninja lines we have activities that your children will love and will be desperate to come back to again and again.

Each week has a theme that encourages children to get creative and learn new skills.

Amazing adventures,
day and night

As well as our amazing day camps, we also cater for 1 night to 3 night overnight camps so your children can have a real summer camp.

Our overnight camps are packed full of activities, excellent food, fire side songs, star gazing and making long lasting friendships.

After a day spent in the outdoors and an amazing meal you will be ready for a great nights sleep.

We have large spacious safari style bell tents for all to rest their heads. This is a great opportunity for children to make bonds with new and old friends as they chat about their days activities. We ensure children are settled and cosy and are on hand at all times.

Sleep well beneath the stars as tomorrow holds new adventures and memories to be made.

Food is not just about the eating, it is about the preparation.

Food is hugely important to us at The Wild Outdoors Activity Camps and we do everything we can to ensure each child eats healthy, freshly prepared food on our overnight camps.

Children will be provided with a delicious breakfast to set them up for the day, snacks throughout, and a scrummy hot lunch prepared on site, our evening meal will be followed by desert and our famous fire side hot chocolate.

We have meals that the children will help cook with their newly acquired wild cooking skills.

Meals can be anything from pasta bolognese ,burgers, fajitas and we will even bake cakes on the fire as well as pizzas in our own pizza oven.

Got questions?
We would love to talk

Most courses at The Wild Outdoors Childcare Ltd include one or more adventurous activities.  The Wild Outdoors Childcare Ltd staff have, and fully accept, a duty of care to make those activities as safe as is reasonably practical.  They are required to adhere to a comprehensive set of safety rules and there is a quality management system to monitor the fact that rules and procedures are adhered to.

However, adventurous activities are inherently hazardous and cannot be completely risk free however hard we try.  Accidents can happen without any contributory negligence from the centre or its staff.

Moreover, the environment at the centre is such that we cannot “fence off” all hazardous areas.  Your son or daughter must therefore help our staff to look after their safety by listening carefully to instructions, by doing what they are asked to do and by not being reckless by trying to do more than they have been briefed to do.  Only give your consent if you are confident that they will behave responsibly in this way.  The centre can accept no responsibility for loss of or damage to personal property or for personal injury unless arising as a result of its own action or default.

I understand and accept the above statements.  My son or daughter is fit for the course and will inform the centre before the course of any special medical conditions that might affect my son’s or daughter’s safety.

Your personal data will be used to process your order, support your experience throughout this website, and for other purposes described in our [privacy_policy].
