About us
Our holiday activity camps are a convenient, affordable, flexible childcare options as well as being buckets of fun.
Our promise to all parents is that your children will have fun, meet and make new friends, work with amazing leaders and come home happy and tired
As parents, we both understand the need for affordable, flexible childcare, the desire for parents also to ensure that their children, throughout the days of their school holidays, are engaged in adventurous and fun activities, that they are in a safe and secure location, and they are spending the day with the best leaders in the industry.
The Wild Outdoors Childcare was set up in 2022 with a goal of providng affordable flexible childcare for parents who want their children to have school holidays they remember for all the right reasons.
Remembering a childhood of adventures in the Kent countryside, I wanted to bring adventure and fun to children during their school holidays. After leaving Oxfordshire and moving to the Scottish Borders it was an easy decision to set up The Wild Outdoors Childcare company.
Children's welfare is at the absolute heart of everything we do, and we bring fun to each and every day.
Our keys to
running successful days are:
• Our activities have to be fun, exciting, engaging and of course safe, and our locations have to be amazing.
• Our staff have to be inspiring leaders that can engage with children and show an absolute passion for working in the outdoors with children.
• Our childcare has to be affordable and flexible
• Our communication with our customers has to go above and beyond the expected standard.
• We must listen to feedback and act upon it, keeping our camps and activities fresh.
Our staff are what make a day at The Wild Outdoors a truly special occasion.
Our staff go through an extensive training programme which once completed gives them the ability to lead all of our activities, but that is only the start of what makes a great leader at The Wild Outdoors.
Our leaders all have a real passion for working in the outdoors and also for working with children.
We only recruit those who have the ability to inspire children, as we know that our leaders will be remembered by your children for ever.
All staff go through an extensive in-house training programme and are members of the PVG scheme.
